About us

Humaniora vård och omsorg is the municipal provider in Solna City. We are responsible for, among other things, assistance activities in the form of personal assistance, escorting, relief services, contact persons, and contact families. We are now looking for a coordinator responsible for escorting, relief services, contact persons, and staff planning within personal assistance.

What does the job entail?

In the role of coordinator, you hold a key position in ensuring that measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) are carried out with high quality and based on the individual's needs. The assignment involves independent responsibility to follow up, develop, and quality-assure measures within escort services, relief services, and contact persons, as well as to work with staff planning within personal assistance based on current legislation and guidelines. The work is done in close collaboration with the operations manager, and you are expected to also drive operational development together with employees to strengthen quality and contribute to continuous competence development.

The role includes meeting users to map needs and wishes, recruiting and matching staff, and ensuring that measures are carried out according to decisions. You have ongoing contact with users, relatives, and case officers, and are responsible for documentation, follow-up, and other administration as part of the systematic quality work.

The role also includes responsibility for staffing within personal assistance, where you work both operationally and strategically. You handle sick leave and vacations, solve acute staffing needs, and plan schedules in accordance with current agreements and regulations.

Who are we looking for?

You have:

  • relevant university degree, such as social work, behavioral science, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
  • experience within the disability field
  • good knowledge of LSS and SoL
  • experience of working with follow-up, analysis, and development of operations
  • good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an asset if you have:

  • experience of operational systems such as Stratsys, LifeCare, TimeCare, or Heroma
  • experience of working with staffing and schedule planning
  • experience of working with the implementation of escort services, relief services, and contact persons
  • experience of developing routines/working methods
  • experience of working with systematic quality work

As a person, you are confident in meeting people and find it easy to collaborate. You work in a structured and organized manner, can prioritize in the moment, and take responsibility for independently driving your own work forward within the framework of the assignment.

You are flexible and enjoy a role where the workday can vary, and you adapt easily when conditions change. You are communicative, clear, and see the meeting with people as a natural and central part of the operation.

You are attentive, listening, and actively contribute to the development of the operation.
